Medifast Chocolate
Posted in Weight Management | No Comments »My opinion about the taste of the Medifast diet
I was on the Medifast diet for a while and I think we tried almost all the food on offer. Some of the foods consumed by love and on a daily basis. Some of these foods are pretty decent with a little refinement, and certain foods, ask me to get away from them. I'll tell you food taste better and are not very appetizing in this article.
Overview of the Medifast food: Before entering taste, however, I would like to give a quick overview of what types of food available. There are about 70 meal options and are called "Medifast meals." The meals are small, but most are convenient, prepackaged and easy to assemble. You are invited to eat five of these meals a day and more healthy food to make for yourself which is composed of protein and vegetables. (This is called the "lean and green" meal.) So, in essence, three meals and three meals per day.
The food is varied and is covered under the terms breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks. There are eggs, pancakes, brownies, ice cream, oatmeal, protein bars, shakes, soups, stews, chili, french fries, fruit drinks, cappichinos, hot chocolate and dessert, to name a few. All these foods have many different flavors available. So now, I will discuss what tastes good and does not work.
The best tasting Medifast food: Undoubtedly, this system has a few stars I would not hesitate to eat even if not on a diet. These are the shakes, protein bars, oatmeal, cakes, brownies, soft ice cream, chocolate cappuccino / hot pudding. (Note that these are all sweet:).
These products are good straight and I have to do something for them – Though sometimes added sugar syrup and whipped cream without fat or fat-free smoothies if you feel adventurous. Protein bars have a smooth texture and pleasant taste of chocolate mint cookies and mint Girl Scout thin, while peanut butter tastes almost like a bar of Reese. As the Quaker oatmeal and pudding taste good, but you can also use a database to make muffins, cookies, etc. mocha cappuccino and hot chocolate mixed with a rival anywhere.
Decent Medifast tasting food can be good with some minor adjustments: I think the eggs, chile and soup quite well. But I seen a little to give them some help. I'll add vegetables or fat-free sour cream to the eggs or I'll add a fat-free tortilla (and sometimes add pepper, well) for a burrito. I even pepper – Add the cheese, lettuce and tomato and spicy sauce on a burrito. Sometimes you make a taco salad with chile model by the addition of lettuce, tomato, cheese and fries in the diet of an effect of nachos. Also add the chips and sour cream on top of the soup as well.
I do not like the food in general: I totally clear and direct stew fruit drinks. I'm not like the stew in everyday life and fruit drinks taste a little heavy and artificial. I manage to add large amounts of water and pour it over crushed ice for a snow cone. Or then I'll freeze (add ginger ale or soda) for ice cream. Fortunately, there are enough options available in the food that is not a big deal to skip these options. Sometimes I eat it, but often just load with food for my only really help me through the design of a menu option.
