Can the Atkins diet to help me break a plateau?
Over the past year, I went from 243 pounds to 165 pounds even with a low calorie diet and exercise. I was in the lower 160 (165-162) in recent months and no matter what I do, I can not leave the year 160. I eat lean meats (chicken), whole grains, fruits and vegetables and no sugar. My workouts consist of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai 2 hours per day, four days a week. The rest of the week I get a hour of cardio and Take Off on Sunday. I reduced my extra calories and increasing my exercise, I do not understand why the scale is not moving. I think to try Atkins for a few months to get to 140? Do you think the Atkins diet may break my plateau? I'm 5'4 "and should be more than 140 pounds.
I do believe that Atkins can help, it's just that your body gets used to what you do. Try to eat 5 or 6 small meals and do not drop to more calories than your body can go into mode hunger and the end result will gain weight. I read that when you click on a tray to eat normally for several days and then start your diet again, I know people who have tried and said it works, but I've always scared.Good luck and good work in their fantastic results. Edit You can test the fat loss for idiots work and not hungry, but I could not resist more than two months, indicating that actually have a day off every 11 days.
